YOUR ORDER

How do I make changes to my order? Can I cancel my order?

We can facilitate changes to an order or even a cancellation till the order is shipped. You can reach us at wecare@theyellowdwelling.com with your instructions. Once the order is shipped, we are unable to make any changes to your order.

I placed an order, what is the order status?

Do you take bulk orders?

Why are some of your products out of stock?

We’re sorry you can’t find the product you love! It takes about six months to a year to develop a new collection, and although we have a system in place for anticipating demand, we can never fully predict if an item is going to sell out. While we increase our volumes each year, we’re extremely careful to avoid overstocking and wastage – for a minimal carbon footprint. It’s all about finding and maintaining the right balance, something we’re trying to get better at every year. We also listen closely to the needs and wishes of our customers, and do our best to ensure their favourite items come back in stock as quickly as possible, though most of our collections are one-time only – so, we’d personally suggest that if you like something, buy it right away. However, some out of stock items might be available again, so click on the “notify me when in stock” button of an out of stock item, and we will email you as soon as it’s back in stock.

How is the gift card delivered? Where do I apply for it?

All gift cards are digital and available on the website. Once you purchase a gift card for someone they will receive an email with your message and a gift card code for the amount chosen by you. You will receive a confirmation email once the gift card is emailed to them. No physical gift cards are sent. The receiver can apply the gift code at checkout under the discount code section and the amount will be deducted from their cart amount. View Gift Cards

Why don’t you have sales or first time discounts?

When we started our brand in 2017 our primary objective was to provide sustainable yet affordable home décor options to the market. We have an in-house design team which allows us to set the best price for you while also rewarding the expertise of our factories and employees at fair rates. All our products are 100% sourced from within India. We do not levy huge mark-ups on our products and therefore frequent discounts are not viable or sustainable. Yes, usually we do have annual clearance sales in somewhere between February and March. Do sign up for our newsletter to stay updated.

SHIPPING & RETURNS

Do you deliver to my location?

Yes, we ship across India.

Do you ship internationally?

We don’t ship internationally, we are in the process of setting up our international shipping.

How long do you take to deliver?

Due to the recent COVID situation, the processing times have increased to 3-5 days for readymade products and 7-8 days for curtains and customized products. Delivery time depends on the location, the south zone takes about 3-4 days and the North zone takes about 7-10 days.

What if I’m not home at the time of delivery?

The courier partner will send you an SMS alert on the day of delivery. If you’re unable to receive the parcel please reach to them or to us to update the instructions to the delivery person. An order is attempted 3 times after which it’s returned back. A returned order is canceled and refunded. If a customer refuses orders regularly, we reserve the right to cancel orders and request for an in-store pick up only.

Do you have COD?

No, unfortunately we currently do not provide that service.

Can I return the product if I don’t like the color?

I have received a defected and/or damaged product, what do I do?

You can reach out to our customer care team via email; wecare@theyellowdwelling.com and/or call +91 96062 46004 with the order details. Please share a photo(s) of the products with the defect as well. We will reach out to you and help resolve the issue.

What are the working hours of your store?

Both our stores are open all 7 days of the week. The store timings are 10.30 AM to 8.30 PM.

CUSTOMIZATION

Do you customize curtains?

Yes, we do. We offer customization in terms of your preferred length, header style (we offer six different header styles) and lining options to provide room darkening effect. Please head to our custom-made tab to explore further.

Do you customize wall mirrors and wooden signage?

Yes, they can be customized. Please contact our customer care team at +91 96062 46004 over call or Whatsapp.

Do you customize cushion covers and other products?

Hi, at the moment we offer customizations in curtains and we are working towards offering customization in other products. We also try and provide all the standard sizes used in general for all categories like cushion covers, table cloths, runners and others. Do check the size options under each product.

Do you provide room darkening curtains?

Hello, yes we do. We provide the room darkening effect by adding a black out lining to our existing curtains. You can place an order for this under the custom-made section.
